Shawn Shaver, DDS

Meet Dr. Shaver

Dr. Shawn Shaver resides in Worthington with his wife and three children.  He graduated from Thomas Worthington High School.  After earning his B.S. degree in health sciences from Otterbein University, he later completed his dental training from The Ohio State University in 2001 and found his dental home at Gentle Family Dental Care ever since.  His oldest daughter, Cassidy, will be attending dental school at The Ohio State University, following in her father’s footsteps.  

Dr. Shaver is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.  Additionally, he remains active in a number of study clubs including the nationally known and highly regarded Sfumato branch of the Seattle Study Club. He attends continuing education courses regularly throughout the year and feels strongly that furthering one’s education is essential to stay abreast of the constantly changing dental field.

Outside of the office, Dr. Shaver enjoys outdoor activities including fishing, snow skiing and golf.  He enjoys travel with his family to Sanibel Island, Florida whenever time permits.
